The City of Kingston has a pot of $340,000 to be spent over the next three years to provide low-cost loans of up to five per cent of the cost of a home (to a maximum of $13,000) to help people come up with a downpayment on a home. This means they have enough money to assist roughly 10 would-be homeowners a year, and the program is first-come first-served. So don't delay.
If you have a household income of less than $74,900 and would like to purchase a home with a maximum price of $260,000 in the City of Kingston, you may be eligible for this program.
